Nomad Lounge, Omaha, NE - 30 July 2010

Background

Theme: Rustic, yet elegant French country style wedding with elements of nature. The wedding was held in a trendy lounge in downtown Omaha. To make the country style works, we decided to combine rustic elements of the decors with touches of modern style by keeping our decors clean and simple.

... Custom-made sign at the entrance gives the guests a sneak peek of what to expect at the reception ...

- Family Table -

... Branches inside large Montana jars with paper birds fleeting between them add a natural element to the table ...

... We used Equisetum(horse tails) as runners to bring some green to the table ...

... Reserved signs placed on each chair at the family table, stamped on lugage tags add a unique touch ...

- Center Pieces -

... Combining rustic + modern elements ...

- Buffet Table -

... Variety of rustic containers used as flower pots and menu written on a chalk board bring country feels onto the buffet table ...

... Mason & jelly jars made the prefect candle holders and silverware holders ...

- Gift/Favor Table -

Who would have thought that an old desk made an interesting gift table? We used wooden planters to hold favors - various herb seeds placed inside small envelopes, decorated with dry flowers.
