- Rana's Baby Shower -

- 18 July 2009, Omaha, NE -

Theme - Mediterranean. When we hear the word "Mediterranean", bright colors, fragrant herbs, citrus, and elements of the sea come to mind. So we brought these touches of the Mediterranean to this baby shower in a simple yet unique way.

-- Buffet Table -

Fresh mints and oregano filled the room with wonderful fragrance. Purple flowers, lemons, and blue napkins brought bright colors to the table. While white and green ceramic jugs as vases brought a rustic feel to the decor.

We printed the food signs on white papers and placed them in the recycled bottles filled with sands, to incorporate the sea elements into the table decor.

-- Favors --

What can be more precious than a delicious edible "pearl" as a give away for your friends and family.

Empty Schweppes bottles to hold jelly bellies and M&Ms, placed in a basket filled with sands and shells helped give "by the beach" feeling to the favor table.

- Virginia's Baby Shower -

- 14 November 2010, Olathe, KS -

Theme - The mom-to-be fell in love with pink and brown color combination and wanted them to be the theme color of the baby shower.

-- Buffet --

Nothing says 'It's A Girl' better than a bunch of gorgeous baby pink roses to highlight the buffet table.

Adding a third color to a two-color-theme party adds an extra depth and excitement to the whole look of the party. Here, we introduced the color yellow to give the buffet table a little splash.

Few detailed touches, such as the use of different shades of pink flowers; combination of few clean and simple flower arrangements; and personalized food signs using apples and wire, created a unique contemporary, yet semi-rustic, look.

-- Favors --

Salt and pepper shakers filled with colorful chocolate creates a delicious and yet functional favors for the guests. Personalized touches with brown ribbons, pink buttons, and paper flowers made the whole things even more special and adorable.

-- Sash --

Who says that we can't make our own beautiful sash. Simple collections of pink buttons and a long piece of brown ribbon was all we need to 'tie-up' the whole theme.
