Joslyn Art Museum, Storz Fountain Court, Omaha, NE - 22 August 2009

-- The Story --

The bride's background is Thai, while the groom is from Nebraska. Ploy (the bride)chooses deep pink as the theme color for the wedding, so we add touches of gold and copper to bring some touches of Southeast Asia into the space.

-- Cocktail Area --

A Buddha statue carrying amber lotus blossom - makes an eye-catching center piece for the signing table at the entrance

Seating cards held by rice

Rustic golden terracota platter with vibrant flower heads and candles decorated the cocktail tables with South-East Asia flair.

-- Guest Table --

White satin linens and white square plates create a clean look accented by deep pink flowers at the center of the tables.

-- Candle-lit View --

Mirror at the center of the tables magnify the glows from the candles.

-- Cake Table --

-- Buffet Table --

Gold-tinted rose linens and copper branches create a beautiful glow at the buffet table

Hanging beads and jewels add sparkle to the branches, while pink orchid heads add softness to the center pieces.

We placed four small Buddha statues at the four corners of the buffet tables to bring the effect of the larger Buddha statue on the signing table by the front door to the back of the Fountain Court.
